Addressing Sextortion, Spamming and Scams

Sextortion.
You wouldn't believe the amount of reports I've received since taking ownership of KikSexting.com just one month ago that go along the lines of "They said they'd send pictures then blocked me after payment", "Ripped me off hundreds of dollars!" and so on. So it's time to address, educate and solve this problem once and for all.
There has been a lot of media attention as of recent and rightly so in regards to "Sextortion" which is nothing new, just good fashioned extortion but applied to the sexting industry. It's the same old online scam just being redirected and exploiting a new demographic and generation.
Sextortion is when someone gains your trust via a fake social media username, enough for you to send them explicit pictures of yourself then threatens to distribute them to anyone they can find online associated with your personal life like family, friends and coworkers unless you pay them.
What is really scary about Sextortion is the target demographic. Let's face it, when thinking with our dicks, we're even stupider which is what makes this even more dangerous.
Spam.
This aspect of abuse is not so damaging in terms of the overall outcome but it's still frustrating as you're being tricked and sometimes out of pocket depending on the method.
A scammer also uses a fake username and can do one of many things:
- Try and sell you fake pictures they downloaded free from the internet
- Give you a link to sign up on a site where they make money from your activity
- Send you a virus and gain control over your device to steal data
And much more.
Who's doing it and why?
The perpetrators of these crimes are well known, your parents know these "Sextorters" as Nigerian princes. They used to email spam your parents telling them of how they've come into millions of dollars but can't access these funds unless they pay a small fee upfront. In return for your parents paying this fee, they'll share it with them! Even this stupid scam worked which doomed us all with having to put up with email spam forever since it was so effective.
Now that the same people behind that scam are targeting a new generation thinking with their dicks, it's a real cause for concern.
Although the die hard Sextorters are primarily Nigerian, not always. It's very common in third world countries in general but the hub seems to be Nigeria, I guess these guys are just morally corrupt? In their eyes, you can work a shitty job all day and barely get by, breaking your back. Or, you can stay home and bribe stupid westerners and support your family? Easy choice for some.
General scamming is also very popular in third world countries, but a lot of westerners also join in with trying to rip people off sending them Free Nudes passed off as their own or sending links and viruses.
How to protect yourself.
THIS PART IS IMPORTANT! If you have any intention of sexting real Kik Girls or buying content, there's a set of rules to abide by so you'll NEVER be a victim of Sextortion or get ripped off.
If you're a straight male, you're the #1 target and at risk, you need to be smart. If it seems too good to be true it probably is. The majority of fake usernames are hot females that seem desperate. Think about it for a second, this is not how a real female behaves, especially in a world where they hold the power and have the pick of the litter.
A username pitched like that is either a fake profile or a legitimate content seller (we'll get to content sellers next).
The #1 rule is to create a secondary throw-away Kik Username or whatever platform you're using for sexting, make sure it has no association with your real life so the scammers can't find anything about you.
These guys aren't playing the long game, they won't small talk with you for long, if you don't send nudes relatively quickly, they'll ghost you. This is another give away as a real female will engage in chat if they're genuinely interested. You cost the scammers money for every message they have to send without receiving nudes back so they'll get agitated pretty quickly if you're not sending them nudes.
Aside from just using common sense, follow these rules:
- Get verification before making a transaction.
- Do a reverse image search and easily find out if the Kik Nudes on the profile are real or used a million times.
- Upgrade on KikSexting.com to get access to scam protections that share backend data that give scammers away.
How do I know the difference between legit content sellers or scammers?
Now this issue is difficult because as we know, legitimate content sellers want his or her Kik Nudes bought by as many people as possible, so these people will behave like fake profiles with a huge online footprint and alluring profile content.
If the user has OnlyFans and various other social accounts which require verification, that is typically a good indicator they're legit. If you can find no other social footprint on the account online, I'd pass..
This is where KikSexting.com steps in, we're in the process of adding the following tools to our service:
Verification.
We will show a green check mark on Kik Users that verify. They will submit a government ID and a picture of themselves holding a sign of the date and Kik username, it's completely foolproof. You can trust these people 100%.
Fake Scanner.
There will be a button next to the "Add to Kik" button on every profile on Sexting Finder that when clicked will execute a number of backend checks and return a result as to whether the profile is fake or not. This will be highly accurate but not 100% so still be careful, but it will sniff out most of the fakes.
Rewards.
It takes a community to moderate efficiently and we'll be introducing top-up rewards for people who consistently report the high level scammers who evade our AI protections.
